Our fellows at Sparklin have designed a fabulous Coffee Mug and we want to give out two of them to our readers this Diwali. At the risk of making this the shortest post to feature on Pixelonomics, read the instructions below to participate in the contest and win what we call the “Sparklin Mugs”.

Pixelonomics , to me.. It means bridging the gap between words and graphics. This website,since its very inception has been exactly doing that :-) Information,figures,facts,all textual data becomes graphics,infographics,posters,collage. Its a very innovative way to put across to the reader, all the data , in a form which is good to look at, easy to grasp, almost just like apple does with IOS.. Simple and brilliant :-)

Pixelonomics for me…a new world where reading becomes simple, learning becomes interesting. Every detailed information is like pixels scattered..pixelonomics puts them in a meaningful,graphical and leaves impact. POP…pixelonomics of Photoshop was an experience where the ghost of photoshop ran away from minds and it became a friend. Pixelonomic = pixel(smallest component of digital image) + nomics (law)…that sound technical…I hate equations however I love when they can win you a cool coffee mug (limited edition). To me Pixelonomics means law of understanding the minute details of design or image. As jobs said “Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works. Design is the fundamental soul of a human-made creation that ends up expressing itself in successive outer layers of the product or service.” The team @pixelonomics understand each and every single word of Steve Jobs statement and I m sure they will keep on working like this and made non-designers people like me fall in love with their art. I have no more to search Wikipedia to make my US partners understand meaning of Diwali, I can show them infographic created by Pixelonomics. That’s the power of design…to transform complex words into beautiful easily understandable graphics….Pixelonomics u guys are doing great work….keep designing :)

When I was in college final year, we were told about graphics and pixels. Of what I remember, Pixel is a sample of an original image, which is generally represented by its coordinates on a screen…..YAAWWNNN !!!!! After a year in the industry I came across Pixelonomics, First of all the name, it hits you like a pat on the head..Is it the same old, boring stuff in the market, is it glorified economics or what ? NO !! its the art of taking something pure and commercializing it…a very exciting and an original concept and the best part…its not headed by some grey haired executive…its like Social Networking the Movie part 2..WAY TO GO PIXELONOMICS…

Well, at the risk of sounding cliched its the economics of pixels! Or maybe not. Its probably about the ergonomics of pixels or maybe something else.

To me pixelonomics is a blog/site where attention is given to every single detail and pixel of the work they do. As they say god is in the details and they take that very seriously! Its one of the very well designed blogs online with really interesting stuff to read about and quite interesting insights.
