Nokia Asha with dedicated Whatsapp Button
Whatsapp is taking ubiquity to a whole new level by creating a product which works cross platforms and yet offers far more possibilities than the traditional SMS. Nokia with its Asha 210 series went the Blackberry route and began offering the phone with a dedicated whatsapp button.

Adobe’s Creative Cloud in India
There seemed to be a conscious choice on Adobe’s part to have a limited audience which seemed to just tip over 20 including their own staff. The attendees included the cream of the Indian tech community and for once it felt great to be invited for being the “design guy” over the blogger in the past.

Creative job notification – Pixel Jobs (beta)
On 29th Feb 2012, we began a small experiment via Facebook group simply titled “Pixel Jobs”. The idea was simple, to create a group where job providers looking for talent in any field ranging from music composition to professional gamers can find what they are looking for.

The job description which promised to challenge the grey cells turned out to be nothing more than support task. What we did was nothing more than heavy lifting for people at a fraction of the cost, competing on price and not the quality of work. I soon began to question my own love for computer science and like a typical 9-5 job

Building websites for Humans
We web designers often find ourselves in a situation where there’s plenty of opportunity to make fast money by building fast and cheap sites with absolutely no brainwork behind them. They show no respect or feeling for the relationship we build with our viewers or web audience. We could create new websites with stock photography, clichéd templates and 10-year-old rusty copy that we assume makes everyone happy. Or we could follow a different path?
